MWMichael D. Webb, MA, MBA: Michael is the President and CEO of Epion Therapeutics. He has more than 30 years of entrepreneurial and senior leadership experience in healthcare and the life sciences. He specializes in early-stage companies focused on targeted therapeutics and molecular diagnostics. He has been a founder and CEO of several biotechnology companies, taking them from seed funding through venture financing and to a NASDAQ IPO. Mike began his career in Booz, Allen, and Hamilton’s Chicago office, specializing in healthcare and life sciences and subsequently at CIBA-Geigy (now Novartis) where he was last a senior vice president. Mike holds Bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Economics from the University of Kansas, summa cum laude, and an MA in International Relations from Sussex University in the UK, completing his thesis on “Pharmaceuticals Policy and the World Health Organization.” Additionally, he holds an MBA degree from Kellogg, with a concentration in healthcare management. He is a past Chairman of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council.

SGStanislav Glezer, MD, MBA: Stanislav is a Managing Director at Outcome Capital, a strategic advisory firm and investment bank specializing in Life Sciences and Healthcare. He served as Executive Vice President, R&D and Chief Medical Officer at Inogen, where he led the development & 510k clearance of several medical devices. Prior to joining Inogen, Dr. Glezer served as Worldwide Vice President of Medical Affairs for Diabetes Care at Becton, Dickinson and Company. In prior roles, he served as Vice President of Global Medical Affairs at Novo Nordisk, Inc., and Vice President of Medical Affairs, and Senior Director of Medical Strategy and Operations for Sanofi S.A.

LBLiam Burns, MBA: Liam is the CEO of Qaelon Medical. Liam has over 25 years of experience enhancing surgical devices and techniques. He has led the development of breakthrough technologies for early-stage companies as well as the commercialization of products for Ethicon (JNJ) and Conmed (AirSeal). He Co-led a $53M raise for Dextera Surgical and served as CEO at Endo-TAGGS and CuraSeal.

 
 

BTBruce K. Taragin, JD, MBA: Bruce is the Managing Director at Blumberg Capital. He has over 30 years of experience as a venture capital investor, entrepreneur, technology investment banker and corporate attorney. Prior to joining Blumberg Capital, Bruce co-founded and held several senior management positions within technology companies, including Charles River Computers. He also structured and managed early-stage technology transactions at Hambrecht & Quist, Mayer Brown & Platt and Bankers Trust Company. He serves as a member or observer on the board of directors of AngleHealthBioCatchFundGuard,
